British Red Cross – Kimberly Hoang
Tori Ferenc
Tori Ferenc’s latest shoot for the British Red Cross is a continuation of her work with the charity.
Kimberly Hoang was born in Lang Son, Vietnam in 1977. After the end of the Vietnam War, Kimberly and her family fled across the border to China due to persecution and discrimination. After a year spent in a displaced people’s camp in Hong Kong, they arrived in Somerset, UK as refugees, where they were supported by the British Red Cross.
Kimberly’s background shaped who she is today. Realising photojournalism was her calling, she is now a Picture Editor for the British Red Cross and continues to reveal truth, challenge stereotypes, and champion compassion.
