Greg White’s latest editorial for Magneto Magazine tells the story of the classic 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder – once owned by French icon Alain Delon and driven alongside his then-girlfriend Brigitte Bardot. Originally unveiled at the 1961 Paris Motor Show and one of only 37 ever made, it sat untouched for decades with Delon’s gloves still in the glove box.

Hidden away for nearly 50 years in a dusty barn in France, the Ferrari was rediscovered in 2014 as part of the mythical Baillon Collection. When it went to auction in 2015, it sold for a record €16.3 million, becoming the most expensive “barn find” in history.
